Make sure to inform staff you have Celiac. They take it seriously. Gluten-sensitive menu is very small and one item we ordered was flagged as not gluten-free right before they brought it to our table. Very disappointed in my experience. If you eat here, perhaps you too will have a chicken salad and three hours on the crapper the next morning.

Super friendly staff, gf menu had some great options, and waitress helped us with their specialty menu that is not labeled gf. Ate on the patio, manager came out to check on us, definitely will return.

They had items on their gf menu that weren't gf because they use the same fryer. I educated them that they cannot advertise something as gf when there is cross-contamination. The manager was very nice, comped my meal, and made sure that I could eat.

Though the service was great, only two stars because you still need to make sure and ask all the questions even if it's in the gf menu. Great gluten-free menu and knowledge of regular menu. Enjoyable meal. They have a separate gluten free menu you can request that has a decent amount of choices. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious and I had no reactions.

They sub out the beans and give you white rice as the side. When they delivered my food the lady said "gluten free fish tacos and we sub out the beans for the rice when its gluten free". I like how they made a point to let me know its gluten free. Great service here! Unfortunately every time that I have ordered off of their gluten free menu I have had a major reaction I have tried two of their salads and their irish nachos. Usually I'm not overly bothered by cross contamination, but all three times I've eaten at the thirsty lion it has left me horribly sick the following day.First trip to a Thirsty Lion and we were very pleasantly surprised at the food quality and generous portions.

We had fish and chips and French dip and both were quite tasty. The service here was outstanding despite the wait for a table.

Always good. You wouldn't think of the Thirsty Lion as a great destination for asian food - but it really is. I had chicken with curry sauce - and it was delicious. I'd actually go back just to eat that dish again!!

I took 7 of my friends to Thirsty Lion for lunch today. None of which had ever eaten here prior. All loved the food which was presented very well. They just re-opened their patio seating. Nice central location and close to Washington Square. Shrimp tacos are amazing! Get there early Thursday- Sunday for happy hour. The servers were very helpful and friendly.

Everyone enjoyed their food, and the cocktails that we tried were inventive and delicious. We ate at this restaurant while staying at a nearby hotel. It very busy for being mid week and after having the food and drinks we knew why. Definitely worth a bit of a wait!
